ABISKO is an innovative sink designed by Johan Kauppi and Lars Sundström, the soft shape has been inspired by the waterfalls of the Abisko National Park (which is exactly the name), an important and wonderful National Park in northern Sweden. Unlike normal sinks, Abisko has the drainage in the floor so that water creates a sinuous waterfall before ending up in pipes.
ABISKO è un innovativo lavandino disegnato da Johan Kauppi e Lars Sundström, le morbide forme sono state ispirate dalle cascate dell’Abisko National Park (da cui prende appunto il nome), un importante e splendido parco nazionale nel nord della Svezia.
A differenza dei normali lavandini, Abisko ha lo scolo nel pavimento in modo che l’acqua crei una sinuosa cascata prima di finire nelle tubature.
