The Ten Sharp consist of Marcel Kapteijn and Niels Hermes and are one of most famous Dutch band in the '90s: the band was originally founded in 1982, had the name of Streets, but with the first record deal had to change name as it existed an American band of the same name. In 1985, then released the first single as Ten Sharp, a name chosen for its musicality, but the breakthrough came in 1991 with the single "You”, who makes them known throughout Europe.
I Ten Sharp sono costituiti da Marcel Kapteijn e Niels Hermes e sono una delle band olandesi più celebri degli anni ’90: originariamente la band, fondata nel 1982, aveva il nome di Streets, ma con il primo contratto discografico dovettero cambiare nome poiché esisteva già una omonima band americana. Nel 1985 esce quindi il primo singolo dei Ten Sharp, nome scelto per la sua musicalità, ma il successo arriva con il singolo YOU nel 1991, che li fa conoscere in tutta Europa.
