Anna Karenina and the rounded characters
A rounded character in literature indicates a character who is fully described by the author and especially who deals with situations of conflict and comes out changed.
Round characters has good and bad, positive and negative and tormented sides of their character that make them closer to real people. An example of a round character is Anna Karenina, the famous protagonist of Lev Tolstoj's novel that shows the highest and most complex human emotions, from passion to jealousy, from fear to courage, going through experiences like love, betrayal, motherhood, that affect his life and character till her tragic end.
Un personaggio “a tutto tondo” in letteratura indica un personaggio che viene descritto in maniera completa dall’autore e soprattutto che affronta situazioni di conflitto e ne esce cambiato. Personaggi a tutto tondo presentano luci ed ombre, aspetti positivi e lati negativi e tormentati del loro carattere che li rendono vicini alle persone reali.
Un esempio di personaggio a tutto tondo è Anna Karenina, celebre protagonista dell’omonimo romanzo di Lev Tolstoj che mostra i più alti ed i più complessi sentimenti umani, dalla passione alla gelosia, dal coraggio alla paura, passando per esperienze come l’amore, il tradimento, la maternità, che condizionano la sua vita ed il suo carattere fino alla sua tragica fine.

"The Sharp Things" of New York
The Sharp Things are a New Yorker pop band led by singer and songwriter Perry Sherpa, the band is not "fixed " and is often augmented by many musicians in the main group. Currently fixed members are: Steve Gonzalez, Jim Santo, Aisha Cohen, Michelle Caputo, James Pertusi, Andrea Dovalle and Adrienne Day. The band's name was taken from the title of an unreleased demo tape, “Here Come The Sharp Things”.
Besides the typical tools of pop and rock band (guitar, drums, etc..), The Sharp Things often use in their songs bows, different types of horns, keyboards and many other instruments.

The Sharp Things sono un gruppo pop new yorkese guidato dal cantante e autore musicale Perry Sherpa; la band non è “fissa” e si aggiungono spesso molti musicisti al gruppo principale. Attualmente i mebri fissi sono: Steve Gonzalez, Jim Santo, Aisha Cohen, Michelle Caputo, James Pertusi, Andrea Dovalle and Adrienne Day. Il nome della band è preso dal titolo di una canzone demo mai pubblicata "Here Come The Sharp Things".
Oltre agli strumenti tipici delle pop e rock band (chitarra, batteria, ecc.), The Sharp Things ricorrono spesso nelle loro canzoni all’utilizzo di archi, vari tipi di fiati, tastiere e numerosi altri strumenti.
Nursing, beware sharp objects!
The studies carried out by the Department of Internal Medicine and Public Medicine, University of Bari, reveal that the medical sharp injuries among nursing students are an occupational hazard emerging: every year 18% of nursing students incur injuries caused by sharp objects, primarily the insulin needles. The most critical part is the needle recapping and disposal. The university will then need to take action with respect to the training of nurses, given by the danger of infection with such kind of puncture and wounds.
Dagli studi effettuati dal Dipartimento Medicina Interna e Medicina Pubblica dell’Università degli studi di Bari, gli infortuni da dispositivi taglienti tra gli studenti di infermieristica sono un rischio professionale emergente: ogni anno il 18% degli studenti infermieri incorre in ferite provocate da oggetti taglienti, in primis gli aghi da insulina. La parte più critica è il reincappucciamento e lo smaltimento dell’ago. L’università dovrà quindi prendere provvedimenti riguardo al tirocinio degli infermieri, vista la pericolosità di infezione e contagio con punture e ferite di questo genere.

Se si pensa ad un oggetto bagnato e arrotondato viene spontaneo pensare che sia davvero difficile da tenere saldamente in mano! Invece le forme arrotondate permettono davvero un’ottima presa se modellate sulla forma della mano: soprattutto nel settore degli shampoo e doccia schiuma che devono essere pratici anche da bagnati, i packaging più funzionali sono quelli che presentano più curve ed offrono quindi una presa veramente eccellente.
