Shells are sharp or rounded?

Pointed and sharp or rounded and smooth? Whatever your idea of a shell is correct! The shells are in fact the external skeleton of certain mollusks, they develop in the dorsal glandular cells that gradually create the shell.
This skeleton is very different from species to species but also varies in each individual animal as influenced by food, water acidity and temperature.

Appuntite e aguzze o tondeggianti e lisce? Qualunque sia la vostra idea di conchiglia è corretta! Le conchiglie infatti sono lo scheletro esterno di alcuni tipi di molluschi, questi sviluppano nella regione dorsale le cellule ghiandolari che via via creano la conchiglia.

Questo scheletro è molto diverso da specie a specie ma varia anche in ogni singolo esemplare in quanto influenzato anche dall’alimentazione, dall’acidità e dalla temperatura dell’acqua.
