Depero & Campari: when the sharp meets the rounded

The works that the futuristic Fortunato Depero has done for Campari towards the end of the twenties, see an alternation of straight lines, edges and wide curves that, accentuated by the use of colors, give a sense of dynamism. The design by net contours is therefore determined by "sharp" lines and "rounded" lines which however are not in conflict but on the whole harmonics.

Le opere che il futurista Fortunato Depero ha realizzato per Campari verso la fine degli anni ‘20, vedono un’alternanza di linee rette, spigoli e ampie curve che, accentuati dall’uso dei colori, danno un senso di dinamicità.

Il disegno dai netti contorni è dunque determinato da linee “affilate” e linee “arrotondate” che tuttavia non sono in contrasto ma risultano armoniche nel loro insieme.
