Bastille Day
The Bastille Day took place July 14, 1789 was a historic event of the French Revolution. On that date, the insurgents took possession of the Paris Bastille, the prison-fortress symbol of the ancien regime, freeing the prisoners. The conquest of this rounded fortress scored, conventionally, the beginning of the French Revolution.
La presa della Bastiglia avvenuta il 14 Luglio 1789 fu un evento storico della rivoluzione francese. In questa data gli insorti parigini si impossessarono della Bastille, la prigione-fortezza simbolo dell'ancien regimé, liberandone i prigionieri. La conquista di questa fortezza dalla forma arrotondata segnò, convenzionalmente, l'inizio della Rivoluzione Francese.
